Fisetin induces apoptosis and cleavage of caspases in HT-29 human colon cancer cells. (A) HT-29 cells were plated in 12-well plates at a density of 100,000 cells/well. Cells were treated with 20- 60 ìmol/L fisetin and stained with annexin V as described in Figure 5A. (B) HT-29 cells were plated in 100 mm dishes at a density of 2,000,000 cells/dish. Cells were treated with fisetin and lysed for Western blotting as described in Figure 1D. Photographs of the chemiluminescent detection of the blots are shown.
